Christmas 2020

Just wanted to wish you a very Happy Christmas and a much improved 2021.  I have been planning to write this since early November but still kept thinking “just hang on a few days and it will all be clearer,” and unfortunately, it is now.  Wales will be going into lockdown immediately and we don’t have an end date yet.  But everything is improving, the vaccine is being rolled out and as a result we will be able to go on holiday again!  

Thank you all so much for your support this year.   Although closed for quite a bit of 2020 we have been really popular when we could open.   The flats are fully booked until the end of January upstairs and till the second week of March downstairs, both longer term bookings over the winter months.  After that there is lots of availability, you can check the calendar on the Book Now button or email me on crowsnestbarryisland@gmail.com.   Please do contact me if you would like to book.  

Because in Nottinghamshire we have either been in Tier 3 or in lockdown we haven’t visited the flats ourselves since the summer, I think this is the longest we have been without a visit since we bought them almost exactly five years ago.    It was meant to be a temporary measure to give us somewhere lovely to stay while visiting our daughter Ellie when she was studying in Cardiff.  She has since graduated and bought a house of her own but we love the area so much we have kept them.  We are really missing walking the cliff path and having a coffee in Bay 5 and can't wait to be at the seaside again.
